Excitedly and sadly, (depending on how you look at it), children everywhere are going back to school this week. I am a tad bit excited that all the indoor playplaces around the entire Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex will be giant-kid free, and a tad less crowded. But I am so sad that the beginning of this school year marks Mackay’s last year at home with me. When I think about it I want to cry, so I just try not to think about it. But I ran across this adorable little free download here that lists 50 different things about your child’s back-to-school experience that are a must to photograph and document. And suddenly I feel like I can swallow the fact that my children are growing up. So since I can’t follow all of your children around as they prepare for that first day of school, I’m leaving it up to all of you. And definitely check out this download!!

Marcy - I think this is a great idea. The only pictures of me going back to school are standing outside waiting for the bus, but now that I think about it there are so many other great memories to be had as photographs. Thanks for the reminder…and can I just say CUTE!
