This is my proof. My proof of me and my Mom. And this is ALLLL of it. I had my mom scan to me EVERY picture she could find of us together. Here it is:
Yes, I noticed my mom looks like she was 12 when she gave birth to me.

And yes, I noticed the candles to this cute teddy bear birthday cake has the burning candles sticking out of its EYES. Great idea, Dad.
My mom was sick, which means I was sick. Can you tell?.jpg)

I was TERRIFIED of the camera, so my mom had to get in the pictures with me. Just after work, when she wasn’t ready to be photographed. And then she shaded my whole head. And from the words stained to the front you can tell this picture was taken in March 1987, when I was 10 months.
And then fast forward to college.
And then my wedding.
And that’s it. That’s all we have together. And from this stems my new regular blog posts, called, “My Proof.” Proof that I was here. With my kids. That we did things together, and liked each other. That I loved them. At each and every stage of their lives. This is going to be a reoccurring blog post partly so that it will actually get me to do it. Because there is always an excuse of, Oh, I hate this shirt. Or, I didn’t shower today. My house is a mess. Or, I really need to lose a few pounds. Before I take that picture. No longer.
Stay tuned.

elise - I need to be in more pictures too! Matt’s afraid to use my camera, so it doesn’t happen too often
Great idea for a series. Btw I think you look just like Mackay in the picture where you are 10 months old!
Linda - Matt thinks there are even fewer pictures of me and him. I’m sure he is right.
Dad - The picture with you and mom, with the writing soaking through the picture, has always been my favorite of you. It reminds me of a china doll. Sure love you!! I also believe there have to be more pictures of you and your mother somewhere. Maybe in video?
