Before life changes

I know you’d never tell, but this sweet mama is expecting.  And #3 is going to be a boy.  Which, I’m guessing, will bring on the real adventures!  So how fitting and how fun to plan a photo shoot to capture life at this moment right now.  Before life changes forever.  I believe it will change for the better, but things will definitely not be the same.  Nate and I find ourselves remembering back to that life when we just had one.  When we only had to put one child into a carseat.  When we only had to request one high chair at restaurants.  And when bedtime was easy.  When it was just Mackay and I at home we acted more like best friends than mom and daughter.  When we wanted to go to the park, we went to the park.  When we wanted to go shopping, we did.  And when Mackay set all her dolls out in a row, there was no one there to push them over.  I would say life was simpler then, but life is so much more full now.  Full of love, and fun, and giggles, and adventures.  So here’s to a great photo shoot before the adventures grow exponentially.

And this last picture is for little Miss S.  Who insisted that I photograph the toys.  And then requested to see the pictures on the back of my camera.  And when she saw that she was also included in the pictures, and they weren’t according to her vision, had me do it again.  But right this time.
